The business are currently in an excellent position with a number of high performing teams and they hope to attract a candidate excited by the prospect of working with their business. The role is a permanent position for a Support Analyst focussing on Application & Software Support to be based from their site in Lincoln, with hybrid working capability on offer. The role is predominantly to aid and support the businesses customers, promoting an excellent level of customer support service. Day to day duties will include: Training on IT systems and specific applications so to be able deliver end user supportTaking & recording customer queries onto the support database ticketing systemProviding support and resolutions to a variety of application & software queriesDiarising and returning customers phone callsActioning fault responses in line with the company procedures and agreed to contractsReporting any major faults or bugs to the System Development Team using the correct reporting tools.SQL updatesWorking closely with the Support ManagerLiaising with a number of different internal teams DB Charles have spoken at length with the client on the various skill sets and backgrounds they seek in order to hire, including a number of the below: Preferable background from customer service or a telephone based roleWill consider recent graduates with an interest in IT & systems however not essentialA background in application or software support would be highly advantageous however not necessaryExperience in delivering excellent customer service via phone, email & face to faceInterest towards ITStrong communication skillsWorking knowledge of basic IT systemsKnowledge of Microsoft SQL server advantageous however not essentialAbility to commit to a permanent role based in Lincoln, with hybrid working in place (2 days per week in the office) The client is offering a salary up to £25,000 per annum dependent on experience and the role will be Monday to Friday with different shift patterns on offer, varying from 8:00am to 4:45pm, 8:30am to 5:15pm or 9:15am to 6:00pm. Application Support Analyst (Figaro) A leading wealth manger is expanding and as a result they are looking for an Application Support Analyst with knowledge of FNZ Figaro. This is a role which is based in the City of London, and we are looking for someone to be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. Brief role overview The Application Support Analyst is responsible for IT application support activities including maintenance, administration, second line and third line support. They will work closely with the Service Centre to provide second- and third-line operational support and to ensure timely and efficient resolution of IT application-related incidents and service requests. The Application Support Analyst will also support the process of impact assessing and planning IT application changes, and will then implement, test and monitor required changes in line with agreed change plans. Our core business applications will be the focus of this role: FNZ Figaro, Microsoft Dynamics CRM (as a platform for Wealth Dynamix WDX ONE), Objectif Lune PlanetPress, and INVU Document Management.
