Assistant Management Accountant

Office Based – East Manchester

Salary - £25,000 - £35,000

I am currently working with a Residential letting client in the east Manchester area looking to appoint a permanent full time Assistant Management Accountant.

You will be working closely with the Managing director and wider property managers responsible for end-to-end finance tasks on a daily basis – This is a really exciting to join a company going through a period of growth and demand.

Daily Duties:

  • Work to optimise the speed of transactional close and quality of reconciliations
  • Support the smooth running and reconciliation of all Financial Ledgers for the business
  • Take ownership of key balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Bank & Cash reconciliations / posting cash transactions
  • Month End duties
  • Preparation of accounts up to Trial Balance
  • Assisting with internal audits and compliance checks across the business
  • Process improvement and system development

Personal Profile:

  • Experience within a similar finance role – either Qualified or QBE
  • Keen interest in the property market
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
  • Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Excel and the ability to resolve queries and use initiative
  • Analytical with good attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work within a broad finance team and consider cross team impacts of new processes
