Excellent opportunity for a Locum Employment Solicitor to join a reputable firm, starting ASAP for 3 months + in duration.

The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established, reputable firm who have an excellent reputation in the area are seeking an Employment Locum Solicitor to cover whilst the firm recruit on a permanent basis. The firm requires the Employment Locum to join them for up to 3 months in duration with a high possibility of extension.

The firm are flexible and are open to the employment locum working on a fully remote basis after the first day in the office. They are seeking someone to work a minimum of 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

The Locum would be responsible for a mixed caseload of employment matters, including claimant and respondent work for employees and employers including:

  • Settlement agreements
  • Discrimination matters
  • Wrongful and unfair dismissal
  • Disputes
  • Redundancy and restructuring
  • Disciplinary and performance
  • Restrictive covenant matters
  • Corporate support

Requirements

  • At least 7 years' experience as an Employment Solicitor
  • Experience handling busy caseloads of employment matters, including claimant and respondent work and for employers and employees
