My client is a thriving manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Blackpool with great commuter links to the M55. They are dedicated to delivering excellence in their industry. As theyecontinue to expand, they are seeking a talented and motivated Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Participate in financial forecasting and planning processes.
  • Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
  • Conduct cost analysis and performance evaluations to provide insightful financial information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support business decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Requirements:

  • Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a management accounting role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and a desire to learn and progress.
