Planning Paralegal

Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Planning Paralegal to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.

ROLE: Planning Paralegal
LOCATION: Essex
RATE: £20.00 to £23.00 per hour
CONTRACT: 4 months with possibility of extension

Please note that this role may require office attendance 1 or 2 days per week.

The Role of the Planning Paralegal

• To support a team of Lawyers in progressing complex caseloads of Planning & Highways matters through to completion
• Matters will include Section 278 and Section 38 agreements, planning enforcement notices and CLEUD
• To answer miscellaneous queries on planning and highways

The Person

• A law-related qualification (LPC / LLM / LLB) or direct relevant experience
• Previous Planning law experience would be essential
• Work experience in a local authority would be highly beneficial
